Sleep apnoea is a disorder that causes the cessation of breathing during sleep.while sleeping, the soft palate and tongue muscles relax, and end up collapsing causes the airflow to become restricted.The potential consequences of sleep apnoea are significant and include hypertension, coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, pulmonary hypertension, congestive hear failure, stroke, neuropsychiatric problems, cognitive impairment, sexual dysfunctions, and injury due to accidents.There are some changes are found in normal and sleep apnoea ECG signal which are useful to investigate this major problem. Practical methods are applied through different-different analysis and algorithm patterns are very useful in case of sleep apnoea.
